Newsletter #11 / New show coming up: TURPS Offsite, opens May 15 in Woolwich
Painters, painting, paint
This past year I’ve been part of a cohort of painters at TURPS Art School, on their Offsite programme. The artist-led talks, mentoring and critiques have been so helpful in accessing hidden layers in my process and exploring new perspectives in painting and research.
I’m excited to invite you all for the end of year show. There are about 30 of us exhibiting and sharing a bit from our practices.
Private View: 15th May, 5-8 pm
Open: 15th - 24th May, 12 - 5 pm
I hope to see you there, and for those who cannot make it - I’ll post some updates soon on here and Instagram.
I’ll also be invigilating at the gallery on 22nd May, from 2-5pm, incase anyone would like to swing by then!
In other news, a bunch of us from TURPS put together a show this weekend as part of the Dulwich Festival. “OFf/ CEntRe” was hung at Safehouse 1 - a derelict house in Peckham which was the perfect space for a whole lot of very different painters.
Two of my works were part of the show.
